We are seeking an Automation Test Engineer with experience in test execution and automation tool development. The role involves executing automated test cases, developing and enhancing automation scripts, analyzing test results, managing defects, and supporting UAT/SIT. 

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field;
• Experience in software testing or automation testing;
• Familiarity with Python, Selenium and Appium;
• Experience executing automated test cases and analyzing test results;
• Ability to debug and enhance automation scripts based on requirements;
• Experience creating test data for UAT/SIT;
• Knowledge of defect documentation, tracking, and resolution;
• Ability to prepare test reports and maintain detailed defect logs;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proficiency in MS Office and a responsible, detail-oriented approach.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Insurance industry experience preferred;
• Experience using Python or VBA to develop automation tools;
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different automation tools and testing platforms;
• Experience supporting insurance systems and business data flows.

Responsibilities

• Execute test cases using existing automation tools and complete testing within project timelines;
• Create test data required for UAT/SIT;
• Analyze automation results and prepare clear test reports;
• Debug and enhance automation scripts based on testing requirements;
• Use Python or VBA to develop automation tools and improve testing efficiency;
• Execute test scripts and document defects to support project rollout;
• Maintain test results and defect logs accurately;
• Coordinate with the IT team to resolve defects;
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure testing is performed correctly;
• Recommend suitable automation solutions for different testing platforms;
• Provide ad-hoc testing and support when required.
