We are seeking for a Senior QA Automation Test Analyst to design and develop automation frameworks, create test scripts and implement effective automation testing strategies. The successful candidate will analyse test results, troubleshoot defects and enhance test coverage to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing or automation testing;
• Expertise in writing Python scripts and familiarity with Selenium and Appium;
• Strong knowledge of automation framework development, maintenance and implementation;
• Ability to design automation test cases based on user stories and system enhancements;
• Experience developing, executing and maintaining automation test scripts;
• Ability to analyse automation test results, identify root causes and troubleshoot technical issues;
• Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, LoadRunner or mobile testing tools;
• Ability to develop automation test strategies, recommend suitable frameworks and propose technical solutions;
• Experience in regression testing, test reporting and defect management;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
• Basic knowledge of insurance concepts and insurance systems;
• Good attention to detail, accountability and organisational skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Exposure to the banking finance industry will be advantaged.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts to support project requirements;
• Design automation test cases based on user stories and system enhancements;
• Develop and execute automation test scripts in line with sprint planning and project schedules;
• Select appropriate automation tools and frameworks for different testing requirements;
• Develop and document automation test strategies;
• Enhance existing automation test coverage to improve testing effectiveness;
• Execute automation scripts according to project schedules and testing cycles;
• Analyse automation testing results, identify root causes and troubleshoot issues;
• Generate test reports and monitor testing progress;
• Coordinate and monitor the defect management process;
• Perform regression testing to ensure system functionality and stability;
• Identify issues, investigate errors and implement appropriate solutions;
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to resolve technical issues and provide progress updates;
• Estimate automation testing timelines and resource requirements;
• Provide ad-hoc support when required.
