We are seeking for an QA Automation Test Engineer to execute automated test cases, analyse testing results and identify defects. The successful candidate will support SIT/UAT activities, maintain automation scripts and collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and accurate software testing.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is preferred;
• Experience in software testing or automation testing;
• Familiarity with Python programming, Selenium and Appium automation tools;
• Ability to execute test cases using automation tools and analyse testing results to identify root causes;
• Basic debugging and enhancement of automation scripts based on requirements;
• Ability to prepare test data for SIT/UAT and document test results, defect logs and reports;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
• Experience in the insurance industry and familiarity with insurance systems;
• Strong attention to detail, responsibility and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Knowledge of VBA or experience developing automation tools to improve testing efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create test data required for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT);
• Execute test cases using existing automation tools, including handling large or complex test cases;
• Analyse automation test results, identify root causes and prepare clear test summaries;
• Debug and enhance existing automation scripts based on project requirements;
• Use Python or VBA to develop automation tools that facilitate testing activities;
• Execute test scripts and document defects to support project rollout;
• Prepare and maintain accurate test reports and defect logs;
• Follow up with the business unit's IT team to resolve identified defects;
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure testing activities are carried out correctly;
• Provide ad-hoc support when required.
