We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to manage infrastructure projects from initiation to completion within a banking environment. The role involves project planning, stakeholder coordination, resource and budget management, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, project reporting, and ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines, quality standards, and budgets. The position requires strong project management expertise, knowledge of IT infrastructure components, and experience managing multiple projects in a complex, multicultural environment.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience, preferably within a Banking environment;
• Strong experience in project lifecycle management, planning, execution, and delivery;
• Hands-on knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure components;
• Experience managing multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously;
• Strong experience in risk identification, mitigation, issue management, and escalation;
• Experience in Network, Security, Storage, Database, Workplace, or Telecom projects;
• Practical knowledge of virtual technologies in batch and SAN environments;
• Strong proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite;
• Experience in project budget tracking, forecasting, KPI reporting, and stakeholder communication;
• Strong organizational, time management, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders in a high-pressure environment.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Experience working in the banking or financial services domain;
• PMP or other relevant project management certification;
• High-level understanding of software development;
• Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements in infrastructure projects;
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, process improvement, and project handover to production teams;
• Strong influencing, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Clarify client requirements and translate them into detailed project requirements;
• Define project deliverables, assumptions, timelines, and success criteria;
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and issues;
• Anticipate regulatory and compliance requirements and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders;
• Define, measure, and report project KPIs and progress;
• Identify and allocate appropriate resources and coordinate project team members;
• Escalate significant risks and issues to project sponsors and local management;
• Review and improve existing project management processes to enhance efficiency;
• Communicate project changes to sponsors and obtain the necessary approvals;
• Monitor and report actual and forecast project budgets to stakeholders and management;
• Ensure project deliverables meet validated requirements and quality standards;
• Manage and document project handover to production teams;
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and international teams to ensure successful project delivery.
