We are seeking a Systems Analyst with 5+ years of experience in requirements gathering, application/database design, development, testing, and implementation, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Must have 5 years of experience as a Java Developer, with a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology;
• Strong experience in gathering and analysing user requirements, translating them into application specifications, and designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA;
• Experience developing responsive user interfaces using Angular, React, PrimeFaces, or JSF, with strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services and SOA;
• Hands-on experience with application servers such as JBoss/WildFly, WebLogic, and WebSphere;
• Experience in unit testing, code reviews, software development best practices, application performance optimisation, and scalability across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Working knowledge of COBOL, CICS, and DB2;
• Good understanding of enterprise development tools such as Eclipse, NetBeans, or JDeveloper;
• Experience with IBM MQ, rules engines, Apache Spark, and related data-processing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Gather user requirements and translate them into clear application specifications;
• Analyse, design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications;
• Design and develop responsive web applications using Angular, React, PrimeFaces, or JSF;
• Develop and integrate REST/SOAP web services and enterprise messaging solutions;
• Deploy and support applications across JBoss, WebLogic, and WebSphere environments;
• Troubleshoot issues, perform testing and code reviews, and ensure application performance and scalability;
• Work with users, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions independently and effectively.
