Seeking a Senior Java Developer to drive legacy modernization, build secure and scalable services, and lead migration initiatives using Java, Spring Boot, and modern architecture.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Must have strong hands-on experience in Java development and OOP;
• Proven experience with Domain Driven Design;
• Strong knowledge of Java Design Patterns;
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and modern JDK;
• Experience designing microservices and event-driven solutions;
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift;
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD;
• Experience developing BDD automation using Cucumber and Gherkin;
• Working experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and AWS S3;
• Strong understanding of secure, scalable, and maintainable application development.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Payments, finance, or banking domain experience;
• Big Data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop;
• AI tools for development productivity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead legacy Big Data migration and modernization initiatives;
• Analyze existing data and service flows;
• Design and develop Java and Spring Boot services;
• Apply scalable and maintainable architecture patterns;
• Develop and maintain BDD scenarios and automation;
• Containerize workloads using Docker and Kubernetes;
• Support GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD GitOps workflows;
• Perform code reviews and drive engineering standards;
• Diagnose complex development and production issues;
• Mentor teams and support technical design decisions.
