- We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our Transaction Banking Technology team and work on modernizing legacy systems and building secure, scalable, and maintainable services.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong experience in Java development experience with solid OOP and Design Patterns knowledge;
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture;
- Good understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and software architecture;
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift;
- Experience with MongoDB/PostgreSQL and cloud storage such as AWS S3;
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD;
- Experience with BDD testing using Cucumber/Gherkin;
- Strong understanding of secure coding, resiliency, code quality, and production support;
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments;
Desirable Skill(s)
- Banking, payments, or financial domain experience is Plus.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop;
- Experience using AI tools to improve development productivity, code quality, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Modernize and migrate legacy Big Data components to the target platform.
- Analyze existing systems and improve architecture and maintainability;
- Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot services using clean coding practices;
- Implement microservices, layered, and event-driven architectures;
- Create automated BDD tests using Cucumber/Gherkin;
- Work in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to continuous improvement;
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift;
- Support GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD GitOps deployment pipelines;
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and operations teams to deliver secure and reliable solutions;
- Promote quality, documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
