We are looking for an Oracle DBA with hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration, SQL/PLSQL, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and Linux/Unix. Provides 24/7 Level 2 Oracle database support for 200MM and 300MM production lines as the database SME.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Must have 3+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration;
- Must have experience supporting production environments, database upgrades, high availability, and disaster recovery;
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL;
- Knowledge of Oracle architecture, backup & recovery, and performance tuning;
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, filesystem management, and Cron jobs.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Good to have Manufacturing industry exposure.
- Experience in Oracle backup, recovery, failover, switchover, and disaster recovery;
- Exposure to Oracle patching, upgrades, and database change/release management.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot Oracle database health, performance, availability, and production incidents, including 24×7 on-call support.
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle databases, storage structures, and related tools;
- Manage database changes, releases, deployments, schema migrations, and execute failover/switchover testing with rollback planning;
- Implement and support backup, recovery, disaster recovery (DR), high availability, and business continuity processes;
- Ensure database security, compliance, audits, documentation, SOPs, and adherence to company policies.
