We are seeking a Data Modeler to design conceptual, logical, and physical data models, build reusable data structures, and collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver scalable, governed data solutions. 

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field;
• Must have 5+ years of experience in Data Modelling / Data Architecture;
• Hands-on experience with Conceptual, Logical & Physical Data Models;
• Strong in Relational & Dimensional Modelling and SQL;
• Experience with Erwin, ER/Studio, or similar modelling tools;
• Good understanding of data governance, lineage, data quality, keys, and relationships.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Insurance domain experience with knowledge of Policy, Customer, Claims, Product, Coverage, Agent, Billing, or Payments;
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical, reusable data models;
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, Databricks, Delta Lake, and modern data platforms, with familiarity with Kafka, Confluent, JSON, Avro, or APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise solutions, covering relational, dimensional, canonical, and data-product models;
• Gather and understand business requirements, then use SQL and data profiling to validate data structures, relationships, grain, and business rules;
• Review source data to identify gaps, duplication, and inconsistencies, and recommend scalable, reusable modelling solutions;
• Ensure data models follow governance, standards, lineage, quality, security, and documentation requirements;
• Collaborate with business, architecture, engineering, analytics, and governance teams to deliver practical and reusable data solutions.
