PMO – Banking

We are seeking he AML / AFC Project Manager – who will be  responsible for leading/managing AML and Anti-Financial Crime (AFC), compliance projects in a renowned bank, with a strong focus on data analytics, system implementation, and regulatory compliance. 

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline;
  • Must have 3–5 years of experience in the financial services industry;
  • Must have experience in project management, AML systems, and regulatory compliance initiatives;
  • Experience working with AML transaction monitoring systems and financial crime analytics;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from large datasets;
  • Understanding of AML/CFT regulations, transaction monitoring frameworks, and anti-financial crime compliance practices;
  • Ability to present complex findings clearly to senior management and non-technical audiences;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in compliance;
  • Advanced degrees or professional certifications in AML, Compliance, or Data Science.

Responsibilities
Process Documentation & Knowledge Management
• Develop, maintain and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process maps, user guides and operational playbooks across CAI;
• Consolidate and organise business knowledge, project artefacts and governance materials into structured repositories to improve accessibility and knowledge retention;
• Drive standardization of templates, working documents and operating procedures across teams;

Governance, Planning & Reporting
• Support divisional planning, governance forums and management reporting activities;
• Coordinate the preparation of presentation materials, status updates, dashboards and management reports for leadership meetings and committee discussions;
• Track key initiatives, milestones, action items and deliverables to ensure timely execution and follow-up;

Project Coordination
• Provide project coordination support for strategic initiatives, transformation programmes and cross-functional projects;
• Assist project leads in maintaining project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies and stakeholder communications;
• Facilitate collaboration across teams to ensure alignment of priorities and deliverables. Data Visualisation & Insights;
• Develop and maintain dashboards, trackers and visual reports to provide transparency on project progress, productivity initiatives and operational performance;
• Analyse and present data in a concise and meaningful manner to support business decisions and continuous improvement efforts. Process Optimisation & Automation;
• Support the identification, review and redesign of business processes across CAI to improve efficiency, consistency and scalability;
• Assist in implementing automation opportunities using end-user tools, low-code platforms and Gen AI solutions to reduce manual effort and 

Innovation & Best Practices
• Research emerging industry practices and technologies relating to productivity, workflow automation and AI-enabled operations;
• Support pilots and proof-of-concepts to evaluate new tools and ways of working;
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within CAI;

Resource Planning & Portfolio Support
• Assist in maintaining visibility of CAI's book of work, project demand and resource allocation;
• Support portfolio tracking, prioritisation discussions and reporting on capacity utilisation across teams;
• Maintain project and resource-related data to support management decision-making.
