Seeking a Data Migration Analyst / Data Engineer with experience in data migration, ETL, and data warehousing to analyze legacy data, develop SQL/Python solutions, migrate datasets to enterprise data marts, validate data, and support technical documentation.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline;
• Must have minimum 3 years' experience in data engineering, ETL development, data warehousing, reporting, data migration, or a related field;
• Experience working with large and complex datasets;
• Strong SQL, Python, and/or SAS scripting skills;
• Hands-on experience with Hive, Impala, Hue, and Oozie;
• Experience in data migration, ETL, data warehousing, and large-scale data processing;
• Knowledge of Source-to-Target Mapping, Data Validation, and Data Lineage.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Experience in banking/financial services or large enterprise environments;
• Exposure to the Hadoop ecosystem, reporting transformation, or data modernization projects;
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Documentation;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy data, reports, and ETL workflows to understand business logic and data dependencies;
• Migrate tables, datasets, and reporting processes to enterprise data marts using SQL/Python;
• Perform source-to-target mapping, data validation, reconciliation, and UAT support;
• Develop and maintain solutions using Hive, Impala, Hue, and Oozie;
• Prepare technical documentation, including data lineage, mappings, metadata, and data dictionaries.
