We are seeking an experienced System Operator with expertise in Cloud Operations, Batch Processing, System Monitoring, Backup Management, and Production Support. The role involves operating and monitoring cloud environments, managing production batch processes, handling operational incidents, and supporting IT infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with IT policies and service standards.

Mandatory Skill(s)
• 4+ years of experience in System Operations, Production Support, IT Infrastructure, or Cloud Operations;
• Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline;
• Strong experience in AS/400, Control-M, AWS Cloud, and Microsoft Azure environments;
• Experience in batch processing, system monitoring, backup management, and operational support;
• Hands-on experience managing production environments and performing daily system health checks;
• Experience in incident management, problem resolution, and operational escalation processes;
• Good understanding of IT operations standards, policies, procedures, and service management practices;
• Ability to work in a 24×7 shift environment, including weekends and public holidays;
• Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills;
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities;

Desirable Skill(s)
• Good to have ITIL V3 Foundation certification or equivalent IT Service Management certification;
• Good to have experience supporting Life Insurance systems such as Life Asia;
• Desired exposure to media management solutions and enterprise scheduling tools;
• Good to have experience supporting cloud migration or infrastructure transformation projects;
• Desired understanding of IT Risk, Security, and Compliance frameworks;
• Desired experience working with external vendors, service providers, and cross-functional teams;

Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor cloud environments in compliance with organizational standards, policies, and operational procedures;
• Manage overnight and weekend production batch processing activities and resolve related operational issues;
• Perform daily health checks, system monitoring, backup management, and handle ad-hoc operational requests;
• Ensure operational stability, availability, and performance of cloud and production environments;
• Evaluate operational impacts and risks associated with infrastructure, application, and production system changes;
• Support implementation, coordination, and execution of IT infrastructure and system-related projects;
• Monitor, manage, and escalate incidents related to cloud operations in a timely manner;
• Facilitate troubleshooting and resolution of operational and production issues;
• Support Control-M scheduling, AWS Cloud, Media Management, and Life Asia systems;
• Ensure compliance with IT Risk, Security, and Governance policies;
• Collaborate with internal teams, management, and service providers to maintain service quality and operational excellence;
• Deliver operational services in accordance with established SLAs and service performance targets.
