Responsible for operating and monitoring data center systems, handling batch processing, backups, and ensuring smooth IT infrastructure operations in compliance with SLA and IT policies; Supports IT projects, infrastructure initiatives, and ensures timely resolution of incidents in a 24×7 operational environment.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience;
- Experience in Data Center Operations and IT Infrastructure support;
- Hands-on experience with AS/400 systems;
- Strong knowledge of Control-M batch processing;
- Experience in AWS Cloud and Microsoft Azure environments;
- Windows PC operations and system handling;
- Experience in backup management, media handling, and printer operations;
- Ability to work in 24×7 shift environments;
- Excellent Communication Skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- ITIL V3 Foundation certification;
- Exposure to Life Asia system;
- Strong problem-solving and incident management skills;
- Good interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills;
- Experience in handling IT infrastructure projects;
- Knowledge of IT risk, security, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Data Center systems as per SOPs and policies;
- Manage batch processing, including overnight and weekend jobs;
- Handle backup operations, media cycling, and storage management;
- Monitor and maintain data center hardware such as printers and tape drives;
- Identify, report, and resolve incidents related to data center operations;
- Evaluate risks and impacts of system changes in the data center environment;
- Coordinate with IT teams for project implementation and support;
- Ensure SLA compliance and service delivery targets are met;
- Support infrastructure initiatives across business units and regions;
- Maintain compliance with IT security and risk management policies.
