We are looking for an experienced Kubernetes migration tech lead with strong expertise in Azure to drive containerization and cloud migration initiatives. This role involves leading the design, migration, and deployment of applications to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), ensuring scalability, security, and performance. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, guide teams through complex migrations, and implement best practices for container orchestration and cloud-native solutions.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• 5–8 years overall experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes and Azure;
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS);
• Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS);
• Proven experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes);
• Experience in application migration to Kubernetes / cloud-native environments;
• Solid understanding of Azure networking (VNet, Ingress, Load Balancers);
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / Jenkins / GitOps);
• Strong troubleshooting skills in containerized and distributed environments;
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (Azure AD, RBAC).

Desirable Skill(s)

• Experience with multi-cloud Kubernetes environments (EKS / GKE);
• Familiarity with Helm charts, Kubernetes Operators;
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / ARM / Bicep);
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor);
• Understanding of DevSecOps and container security practices;
• Exposure to service mesh (Istio / Linkerd);
• Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Kubernetes migration projects on Azure (AKS);
• Design and implement containerized, scalable, and resilient architectures;
• Drive application modernization and microservices adoption;
• Oversee deployment, configuration, and management of Kubernetes clusters;
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure high system availability;
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams;
• Ensure adherence to security, governance, and cloud best practices;
• Mentor and guide engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team;
• Optimize cluster performance, cost, and resource utilization.
