We are seeking an experienced Azure migration tech lead to drive end-to-end cloud transformation initiatives. The role involves leading Azure migration projects, designing scalable cloud architectures, and ensuring seamless implementation and support of enterprise workloads. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, ensure best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and optimized cloud solutions.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- 5–8 years overall experience (with relevant Azure migration expertise);
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS);
- Proven experience in Azure migration projects (Lift & Shift, Replatforming, Refactoring);
- Hands-on experience with Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery;
- Solid understanding of Azure Networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancers);
- Experience with Identity & Access Management (Azure AD, RBAC);
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills;
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM Templates / Terraform / Bicep);
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP);
- Exposure to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) / Containers;
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git);
- Scripting skills in PowerShell / Azure CLI;
- Familiarity with Azure Security tools (Defender, Sentinel, Security Center);
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills;
- Experience handling large-scale enterprise migrations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end Azure migration projects;
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures;
- Oversee migration planning, execution, and post-migration support;
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure high system availability;
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams;
- Ensure adherence to cloud best practices, governance, and security standards;
- Mentor and guide L3 engineers and junior team members;
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and optimization initiatives.
