We’re looking for an experienced QA Tester (5+ years) who can ensure applications run smoothly by analyzing requirements, creating and executing test cases, and working across portals, APIs, and backend insurance systems.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Must have 5+ years of experience in software testing/QA;
- Solid understanding of testing concepts, methodologies, and the QA lifecycle;
- Practical experience in designing, executing test cases, and managing defects;
- Comfortable testing across web portals, APIs, and backend systems;
- Familiar with tools like Jira Zephyr (or similar test management platforms);
- Able to quickly understand requirements and turn them into effective test scenarios;
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and clear communication skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience in API testing (Postman or similar), SQL for data validation, and Agile/Scrum environments;
- Exposure to core insurance systems, integration testing, and General Insurance domain (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, design and execute test cases, manage test data, and validate across portals, APIs, and backend systems;
- Track execution in tools like Jira Zephyr, log defects, perform regression and API testing, and ensure timelines are met;
- Validate integrations across insurance systems and collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
