We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst cum Project Management professional with strong experience in banking and enterprise-wide information systems. The role involves working closely with business users, IT teams, and development teams across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, functional documentation, testing, UAT, project coordination, and production support. The position also requires strong data analysis skills, complex SQL knowledge, UI/UX experience, and proficiency in Figma, JIRA, and Microsoft Office tools.

Mandatory Skill(s)

•  Minimum 9+ years of relevant experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting complex enterprise-wide information systems;
• Strong experience in the banking sector with hands-on participation across the complete SDLC;
• Strong experience coordinating between business and IT teams across different locations and acting as primary functional support for development teams;
• Good project management and coordination skills, including project planning, schedules, milestones, and task management;
• Strong ability to understand business needs and translate them into detailed functional requirements and solutions;
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC);
• Experience preparing test documentation and performing functional testing;
• Hands-on experience with System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including UAT planning, execution, and reporting;
• Strong risk awareness with the ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks and drawbacks associated with proposed solutions;
• Experience identifying business process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce operational risks;
• Strong proficiency in SQL and complex database queries;
• Proficiency in flow diagram definition and design;
• Ability to prepare datasets for analysis and validation;
• Hands-on UI/UX experience;
• Strong experience creating mock-ups using Figma;
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and JIRA;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. 

Desirable Skill(s)

• Knowledge of performance testing and related tools;
• Ability to speak or understand French;
• Experience working with large data volumes, data analysis, and troubleshooting data anomalies/inconsistencies;
• Experience preparing application user guides and operating guides;
• Experience providing L2/L3 production support;
• Experience in developing detailed functional specifications, use cases, test strategies, and test cases;
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural and geographically distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with business users, project stakeholders, onshore IT teams, and development teams to gather and clarify business and functional requirements;
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications and appropriate technology solutions;
• Prepare, maintain, and communicate functional documentation, use cases, process flows, and other project artefacts;
• Work closely with development teams throughout the SDLC to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into solutions;
• Support project planning, schedules, milestones, and delegated project management activities;
• Prepare and execute qualification strategies, test plans, test cases, and functional testing activities;
• Identify and prepare appropriate test datasets required for testing, analysis, and validation;
• Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and validate solutions before transition to the UAT phase;
• Coordinate and steer UAT activities with business users and report UAT status to project stakeholders;
• Track, report, and escalate key project risks, issues, and dependencies to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders;
• Ensure solutions are thoroughly tested and delivered within agreed timelines through production deployment;
• Analyze large volumes of data and investigate data anomalies, inconsistencies, and related issues;
• Prepare and maintain application user guides and operating guides;
• Provide L2/L3 production support and assist in troubleshooting production incidents;
• Identify opportunities for business process improvements and recommend enhancements to mitigate or reduce operational risks;
• Create flow diagrams, UI/UX designs, and functional mock-ups using appropriate tools, including Figma;
• Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams to drive project delivery and business outcomes;
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, internal compliance, financial security, and risk management requirements;
• Complete mandatory training and maintain the required knowledge and competency for the role;
