We are seeking an experienced System Analyst with expertise in Insurance Product Configuration, System Analysis, API Integration, and Agile Delivery. The role involves configuring life insurance products, gathering requirements, and collaborating with business and IT teams to deliver effective solutions.
Mandatory Skill(s)
• 5+ years of experience in System Analysis, Business Analysis, or Full System Development;
• Strong experience in Insurance Product Configuration and Product Rollout for Life Insurance products;
• Hands-on experience with Participating (Par), Non-Participating (Non-Par), and ILAS insurance products;
• Experience gathering business requirements, conducting impact analysis, and preparing functional specifications;
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, MongoDB, and web/application architectures;
• Experience with API mapping, API specifications, and cross-system integration flows;
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies;
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and documentation skills;
• Ability to define As-Is and To-Be business process flows.
Desirable Skill(s)
• Good to have experience with insurance platforms such as Cube, DTC, or similar systems;
• Good to have knowledge of DevOps, Cloud, Microservices, and Mobile technologies;
• Desired experience working with Product, Actuarial, and Pricing teams within the insurance domain;
• Good to have exposure to insurance product configuration upgrades and multi-market product rollouts;
• Desired strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Product, Actuarial, and Pricing teams to understand product specifications, calculations, sales illustrations, and rate tables;
• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements;
• Conduct impact analysis and translate business requirements into technical specifications;
• Configure insurance products on existing business platforms for multiple distribution channels;
• Create conceptual designs, prototypes, mock-ups, and process flow documentation;
• Define and maintain As-Is and To-Be business and system workflows;
• Support API integration design, mapping, and cross-system sequence flows;
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery;
• Ensure product configurations are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets;
• Support system enhancements, upgrades, testing, deployment activities, and ongoing production support;
• Apply best practices in communication, problem-solving, and solution delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
