We are seeking an experienced system engineer who will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise infrastructure across virtualization, cloud, storage, backup, containers, and automation platforms. The role acts as the highest technical escalation point for complex incidents, drives automation and platform reliability initiatives, and ensures secure, scalable, and highly available IT services within a managed services environment.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter administration and troubleshooting;
• Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) administration;
• Ansible, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation;
• Git, GitLab, CI/CD, and DevOps practices;
• Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker, and container platforms;
• Veeam Backup & Replication and disaster recovery solutions;
• NetApp and enterprise storage administration;
• Splunk, Grafana, monitoring, and observability tools;
• Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python;
• L3/L4 support, root cause analysis, incident, problem, and change management.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Azure and AWS cloud architecture experience;
• VMware vRealize Automation (vRA) and Site Recovery Manager (SRM);
• CyberArk Privileged Access Management;
• OPSWAT security solutions;
• VMware Horizon VDI administration;
• Rubrik data protection solutions;
• SRE, GitOps, and platform engineering practices;
• Nvidia AI infrastructure exposure;
• Relevant certifications such as VCP, VMCE, Azure Architect, AWS Architect, or Kubernetes certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3/L4 support for complex infrastructure incidents and service requests;
• Manage VMware, Windows, Linux, storage, backup, and container platforms;
• Develop and maintain automation, scripting, and IaC solutions;
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes;
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives;
• Manage monitoring, performance, availability, and capacity of infrastructure services;
• Implement infrastructure changes and ensure SLA compliance;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues;
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain technical documentation;
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives.
