Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to bridge Business and Technology teams, driving business analysis activities from requirement gathering through solution delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder management, agile delivery experience, and hands-on technical expertise to translate business needs into scalable, high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Analysis or Technical Business Analysis, preferably within the Insurance domain;
  • Must have experience in SDLC, Agile methodologies, and end-to-end project delivery;
  • Must have experience in technical background with experience as a Developer or Technical BA, with exposure to Java, C# .NET, PHP, AngularJS, or Vue.js;
  • Good knowledge of MS SQL, including database querying and basic database design concepts;
  • Proven ability to collaborate closely with development teams and translate business requirements into technical solutions;
  • Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and multitasking skills in fast-paced and dynamic environments;
  • Comfortable managing changing priorities, resolving complex issues, and driving delivery across multiple concurrent projects.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Prior experience in the Insurance industry or Insurance consulting environment;
  • Exposure to release management, testing strategies, and enterprise application design;
  • Experience working with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps

Responsibilities

  • Lead project scoping, gather business requirements, and translate them into functional and technical specifications;
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, users, developers, and QA teams to ensure successful end-to-end solution delivery;
  • Manage release planning, prioritization, project timelines, dependencies, risks, and change requests across multiple workstreams;
  • Create and maintain accurate project, system, and solution documentation throughout the SDLC lifecycle;
  • Design user journeys, workflows, and testing strategies to validate business and customer requirements;
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, workshops, and stakeholder meetings;
  • Review technical specifications and drive agile delivery to ensure high-quality solutions within fixed timelines.
