Lead Technology Recruitment Specialist (APAC)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Technology Recruitment Consultant to join our team. This role encompasses the full lifecycle of recruitment, from candidate sourcing to successful on-boarding within APAC, specifically within the technology sector. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates a consultative approach, works independently with disciplined approach and has a passion for connecting top talent with exciting opportunities.

 

What is expected from this role?

Candidate Management

  • Source, attract, and assess technology professionals within APAC through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Conduct telephonic interviews to evaluate candidates’ technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Manage the end-to-end candidate experience, from initial contact to successful onboarding.

Recruitment Delivery

  • Collaborate with clients and internal client facing / business development team based at Singapore, Malaysia.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including shortlisting, interview scheduling, and offer negotiations.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication between clients and candidates.

Market Knowledge and Reporting

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and recruitment best practices.
  • Provide daily reports & market intelligence to internal stakeholders and updates on recruitment progress to clients.

Who shall fit-in the best for this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field.  
  • 5+ years of experience in the recruitment industry, preferably in the technology sector within Singapore.
  • Strong knowledge of information technology sectors such as software development, Artificial Intelligence, data science, cloud computing, machine learning & RPA and digital transformation.
  • Proven track record in tech recruitment for APAC countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to market changes and client needs.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Exposure to insurance and financial services industries and its regulatory landscape.
  • Familiarity with digital and technology talent trends and recruitment tools/platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

What is the career progression path?

  • Based on performance achieved and commitment shown, this role can take career progression to Managing Consultant (Manager level) to Consulting Manager to Practice Lead.
