What is our career coaching all about?
Our coaching sessions consist of in-person meetings with a qualified career coach to understand your professional profile and any challenges you have been facing in continuing your career in the IT sector. We will then work with you to understand your career options and help you decide which one may best suit you, along with an action plan that you can follow to achieve your goals.
Who is our coaching service for?
Our pro-bono service is available to all those who are unemployed, have been unable to find a new job for more than 6 months and have a mind-set that a qualified coach could be of value to them. You have worked in the information technology sector either in a core technology development role (such as a developer, architect or project manager), or in an operational support role such as sales, marketing, talent acquisition or IT operations.
Priority will be given to serving Singaporean citizens, and if we still have available capacity we may also accommodate non-Singaporean residents as well.

How is our coaching service delivered?
Our coaching sessions are held in a discrete setting in one of the meeting rooms at our office. We do not conduct any group coaching sessions. Each session will be a dedicated, one-on-one meeting between yourself and a senior coach. The meetings take place on Friday mornings, and are scheduled for 30 minutes. Depending on the coach’s further availability, the meeting may continue beyond 30 minutes if needed.
Who are our coaches?
Our coaches are members of our senior management team who have career coaching and relevant industry experience.
Will you have to pay for our service?
No, you will not have to pay for our pro-bono tech career coaching service.
How can you avail our service?
You will need to send in your updated resume and request a coaching meeting in advance by emailing hr@sciente.com. We will consider and respond to your request with a confirmed appointment for a coaching session at a specified date and time. If you wish to postpone a confirmed session, please inform us by email as early as possible in advance so that your appointment can be rescheduled to the next available date. This consideration will also allow us to accommodate another person who may be waiting for an appointment.
