Java Developer

We are looking for a strong Java Developer who can develop and support the risk, compliance, finance related applications.   

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering and / or Computer Science;
• At least 5-6 years of Java development experience;
• Should have experience developing high-performing, enterprise grade applications using Java / J2EE;
• Hands on with Unix, SQL and RDBMS databases;
• Demonstrable experience with Spring framework(Spring boot preferred);
• Knowledge in Dev-Ops;
• Experience in developing microservices, and have knowledge in Autosys, NDM, Kafka, SFTP, MQ;
• Proficient in distributed system design, and familiar with at least one messaging middleware and the underlying design principles;
• Ability to communicate and present technical information in a clear and unambiguous manner;
• Strong ability to work independently and cooperate with diverse teams in a multiple stakeholders environment.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Knowledge in front end framework;
• Banking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Gather the requirements and build the application; 
• Follow the clean coding standards and SOLID design principles for development;
• Contribute to the large scale projects through hands-on development;
• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals;
• Develop detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports;
• Ensure that necessary changes / enhancements are implemented and documented as per corporate standards and guidelines;
• Conduct code reviews to enhance the overall quality, maintainability, and testability of the software;
• Coordinate the deployment, testing, and release of developed applications;
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions;
• Provide ad- hoc and support where required.
