DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to work on impactful capital markets projects for a renowned bank.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields;
• 5 years of experience in DevOps or development;
• AWS or GCP Cloud Certified;
• Proficient in DevOps tools (GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD);
• Skilled in object-oriented languages (Java, .Net);
• Strong knowledge of UNIX, relational databases (SQL, Oracle, Sybase), and Big Data;
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell, SQL);
• Familiar with tools like Elastic Search, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, Jira, Tableau, Power BI, MQ Series;
• Experienced with Docker, Kubernetes, and Liquibase;
• Background in supporting capital market applications, trading systems, and financial products (Treasury, FX, Credit, IRD, Bonds, RSF, etc.);
• Strong communication, problem-solving, time management, and collaboration skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Domain-Driven Design and Microservices using Spring Boot;
• Familiar with testing automation tools and frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Selenium).

Responsibilities

• Automate deployment solutions and prepare environments for testing;
• Develop tools to simplify daily tasks;
• Facilitate coordination between developers and infrastructure engineers;
• Design, develop, and test code with modern CI/CD pipelines;
• Oversee environments from assembly to production, including infrastructure and operations;
• Perform maintenance, delivery, monitoring, and L3 support for both non-production and production environments;
•  Implement measures to enhance system reliability and performance, while assisting investigations and sharing best practices;
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in capital markets;
• Document processes and ensure they are followed;
• Work autonomously while maintaining close communication with the project/support team.
