Business Analyst

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst to work on AI projects within a large financial organization.
 

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science or related discipline;
• At least 2-4 years of experience as a Business, System or Data Analyst within banking industry;
• Work experience in SQL and data analytics tools;
• Hands on experience in Excel, power point; 
• Meticulous and detail-oriented, capable of supporting user requests and testing;
• Possess good stakeholder management skills to work with different department;
• Strong planning skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines;
• Excellent communication skills to interact with teams efficiently.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Worked on AI projects as a Business analyst in financial industry;
• Knowledge of Python, R.

Responsibilities

• Gather and manage all application-related details for the assigned business vertical, including system interfaces, data content, and stored information;
• Provide support to users by addressing business queries and offering guidance on optimal system usage for daily operations;
• Gain a clear understanding of the project scope and associated changes, assisting the Project Manager with impact assessments and documenting justifications for projects with no impact;
• Ensure governance by aligning the design of data flow from source to core processing with the strategic data flow strategy;
• Consolidate and validate stakeholder requirements, conducting walkthroughs with the team;
• Collaborate with the team in solution design, considering long-term sustainability, standardization, operational efficiency, and front-end configuration;
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate testing approaches and sign-off criteria, securing stakeholder concurrence;
• Oversee UAT management, including timeline planning, batch runs/re-runs, and tracking tester results;
• Prepare comprehensive documentation on data flow, design, business solutions, and testing approaches using predefined templates.
