Automation Tester

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester with expertise in Selenium to work on projects for a reputed bank. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation testing, scripting, and test framework development. 

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• 2+ years of experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDrive and Appium;.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Python, or C# for test automation;
• Hands-on experience with JUnit, basic UNIX commands and working knowledge on LINUX;
• Hands on experience in banking industry;
• Knowledge of SQL queries for database validation;
• Experience with version control systems like Git, Bitbucket, or SVN;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow;
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) ;
• ISTQB or other QA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver or Appium;
• Design and implement test automation frameworks for web applications;
• Identify, document, and track bugs using defect-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TFS;
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to validate application behavior;
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers to understand project requirements;
• Generate and analyze test reports to track software quality and suggest improvements;
• Stay updated with the latest Selenium best practices and testing trends.
