We are looking for highly motivated Project Manager/Business Analyst with a deep understanding of compliance, regulatory frameworks, and financial crime detection systems. Responsible for ensuring that all technology projects related to AML/CFT are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Has 10-15 years of work experience in Banking industry;
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT systems related to financial compliance, risk management, or AML/CFT;
- Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations and frameworks, including FATF, OFAC, and local regulatory bodies;
- Proven experience in managing large, complex IT projects in a financial institution or similar regulated environment;
- Experience with AML/CFT systems and technologies, including transaction monitoring software, sanctions screening, and customer due diligence platforms;
- Strong project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA and others);
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders;
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to AML/CFT;
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISA, or similar);
- Experience in data migration & reconciliation and data analytics.
Responsibilities
Project Manager
- Stakeholder and Communications Management;
- Manage all aspects of project and support program manager in overall engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues;
- Continually manage stakeholder expectations through governance processes;
- Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication;
- Provide status reporting regarding milestones, deliverable, dependencies, communicating across leadership and business stakeholders;
- Process and Delivery Execution'
- Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business;
- Full project end to end life cycle ownership to ensure successful project delivery;
- Manage all aspects of the projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives;
- Prepare detailed project plan for all phases of the project;
- Ensure assignment of adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes;
- Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings;
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs;
- Manage project scope and changes;
- Act as an internal quality control check for the project;
- Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution;
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel;
- Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables;
- Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards;
- Manage project and program issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline;
- Provide progress reporting to senior management;
Business Analyst :
- Requirements Analysis & Elicitation;
- Responsible to identify and define detailed functional specifications based on the business requirements document;
- Analyze and document the “to-be” business and operation processes based on the agreed requirements and / or function points, perform impact assessment and estimation;
- Monitor and manage risks /issues related to requirements and scope-creep;
- Team Collaboration;
- Participate in transitioning the requirements to the designers, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements;
- Assist in translating business requirements into test scenarios;
- Facilitate / provide “Train-the-Trainer” on application enhancements;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge base related to application features and processes (subject matter expertise);
- Testing & Scope Management;
- Clarify test findings escalated by Test Manager and classify the findings accordingly (either as a defect or change request);
- Perform impact assessment and estimation for Project Change Request.
