IT Business Analyst

We are looking for an intermediate Business Analyst with solid experience in IT, specializing in Compliance, Risk, and Finance.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field;
• At least 6 years as an IT Business Analyst, with 3 years in testing;
• 6+ years of experience managing business requirements and creating functional specs or user stories;
• 3+ years of end-to-end testing experience (writing, executing, and monitoring tests);
• Hands-on experience with SQL;
• Strong experience with Jira and Confluence;
• Familiar with all stages of the IT software development and implementation lifecycle;
• Strong analytical and communication skills;
• Experienced in managing stakeholders and working with technical teams;
• Proactive, results-oriented, and dedicated to project ownership, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Knowledge of the financial/banking industry;
• Experience in API testing, Jira XRAY for test cases, and writing Cucumber feature files;
• Familiar with process diagram tools like Draw.IO or Visio.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users/Product Owner to ensure business needs are well-defined and effectively communicated to the team;
• Review business needs and convert them into clear functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring consistency;
• Work with the development team to design solutions that address business needs and technical constraints, while contributing to user stories;
• Write acceptance criteria following the BDD approach;
• Create test scenarios and data, and perform functional/integration testing to ensure developments meet requirements and support E2E/UAT testing;
• Provide level three support by analyzing defects raised by first/second support levels;
• Work with global and technical teams to investigate, define acceptance criteria, and retest fixes;
• Maintain functional documentation for applications.
