Senior Technical Delivery Manager- Trade Finance

We are seeking a Senior Technical Delivery Manager with a strong background in Trade Finance. This role requires to deliver of complex technical solutions, manage the day-to-day activities of agile teams, and ensure the successful implementation of software projects that enhance Trade Finance platform, for a reputed bank.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Degree in  Computer Science, Information Technology or related Discipline;
  • 10 years of relevant software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a Scrum Master or Project Manager role in an Agile environment;
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Java (Java 8 or later) and its core features;
  • Strong expertise in Spring technologies, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and dependency injection;
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS, with experience in cloud-based database environments;
  • Experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or WebSphere MQ, and designing event-driven architectures;
  • Expertise in building secure, scalable APIs using best practices, including OpenAPI and AsyncAPI specifications;
  • Strong understanding of all phases, from development through deployment;
  • Deep focus on code quality, with experience in TDD, unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews;
  • Experience with Behavior-Driven Development using tools like Cucumber and X-ray for Jira, and integrating these practices into CI/CD pipelines;
  • Proficient in Jira X-Ray for test management and tracking;
  • Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD tools for automated testing, integration, and deployment;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both teammates and management;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Knowledge of Trade Innovation solution or equivalent;
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

Responsibilities

Delivery Management (Scrum Master) and Project Management:

  • Own and ensure the successful delivery of the team’s work, meeting both deadlines and quality standards;
  • Oversee and facilitate daily team activities, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration;
  • Manage and structure the team’s Backlog (JIRA), ensuring all tickets are properly organized with required details, clear sprint scope, up-to-date statuses, and well-defined sub-tasks;
  • Monitor team capacity and lead project planning efforts, ensuring efficient use of resources;
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively;
  • Estimate and control project costs, ensuring projects are delivered within budget;
  • Collaborate with Team Head to manage and develop team skill sets.

Development and Enhancement (Trade Innovation Solution):

  • Evaluate functional requirements and user stories, providing feedback on feasibility and clarity;
  • Work closely with product owners and business analysts to clarify and understand requirements;
  • Analyze technical constraints and their impact on functional requirements, collaborating with technical leads;
  • Contribute to the technical design process and ensure alignment with functional requirements;
  • Maintain up-to-date, comprehensive technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Provide high-level estimates for larger requirements (EPICs) and detailed estimates for user stories;
  • Design, develop, and test application components in alignment with project goals;
  • Implement solutions using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies;
  • Provide Level 3 technical support, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
