Middleware Specialist

 We are looking for a Middleware specialist to drive automation and continuous delivery in IT production for a renowned bank.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or equivalent;
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Linux, Unix, or Windows, and middleware tools like BMC Control-M, CFT/Secure Transport/Sentinel and Axway;
• Skilled in monitoring tools (OMI, ServiceNow, Geneos) and scripting languages (Java, Unix Shell, Python, PowerShell, Perl);
• Good understanding of ITIL Service Management (Incident, Problem, and Change processes);
• Experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, Elastic Search, Rundeck, and GIT;
• Willingness to work shifts and provide on-call support;
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and logical skills;
• Customer-focused, team-oriented, and able to work independently.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Experience with DevOps tools and frameworks;
• BMC Certified Service Professional in Control-M Version 9 and IBM MQ;
• Experience in banking/financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Support global production service operations for middleware technologies;
• Ensure service reliability, availability, and stability;
• Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and change management;
• Collaborate with development, project, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver projects;
• Promote continuous improvement through automation and performance optimization;
• Analyze and resolve production platform performance issues;
• Foster teamwork and build relationships to achieve goals;
• Operate and enhance middleware platforms and interfaces;
• Develop self-service interfaces and workflows;
• Lead specialist roles in strategic projects and initiatives;
