We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join us as Java/Spark Developer who will be working the risk, compliance, finance related applications and will be part of international projects.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- More than 9 years of experience in Java development & over 8 years in Core Java and associated frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Jenkins);
- More than 3 years of experience in Spark Java framework or other flavors of Spark;
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles;
- Solid database skills (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle);
- Good experience on DevOps / DevSecOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Nexus, Maven / Gradle, SONAR, CheckMarx;
- Comfortable with source code management system such as Git;
- Experience with application containerization using Kubernetes and Docker;
- Experience with deployments using ArgoCD;
- Enthusiastic person able to work in a fast paced environment.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience with cloud computing technologies, such as AWS or Azure;
- Experience with OpenShift platform.

Responsibilities
- Involve in complete Software Development Life cycle in development of Java applications;
- Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable Java and Spark code;
- Collaborate with architect and business analyst on clarification and understanding of requirements;
- Perform coding, implementation, integration, documentation and user guide according to agreed standards;
- Provide technical solutions for deficiencies in process, application configuration and operational procedures;
- Identify and recommend improvements to existing code, architecture, and development practices;
- Enhancing business applications based on business needs and providing continuous support to the application;
- Involved in system integration and user testing;
- Provide user and system support during and post implementation.
