Test Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Test Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of operations system through testing and continuous improvement.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Degree or diploma in computer science, engineering;
• Develop suitable testing plans and frameworks that align with our customers' needs;
• Excellent problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset, and strong communication skills.
• Ensure the highest quality of our operations system by developing and executing tests to detect and report any errors in the product;
• Coordinate with various functions and teams to incorporate necessary product changes;
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Technical certifications such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) and CSTE(Certified Software Tester);
• Proficiency in testing tools such as JIRA, Selenium, Appium, and other testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Write test cases, prepare and created test data, execute and retest test cases;
• Able to leveraging on inhouse GenAI for test case creation and enrichment;
• Ensure test runs and results are completed within the given time frame;
• Develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications;
• Identify, report, and track software defects and issues;
• Perform functional, performance, security, and regression testing of software products;
• Report test results and defects to the development team and other stakeholders, and work on their resolution;
• Provide suggestions and feedback to improve the quality of the software development process across teams;
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and methodologies;
• You will work closely with the Testing Centre of Excellence (COE) to enhance testing processes and standardize testing practices across operations.
