Project Manager Officer

We are looking for a  PMO Group Finance professional who will be responsible for providing financial oversight, planning, and analysis for all projects under the PMO umbrella for a reputed bank.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in finance, with a focus on project financial management, ideally within a PMO or project-based environment;
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis;
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and how financial management integrates within them;
  • Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, PPT, Oracle, SQL, Tableau, R, or similar ERP systems);
  • Ability to prepare financial reports and presentations tailored to various stakeholders.
  • Accuracy of project budget forecasts and financial reporting;
  • Timeliness of financial reporting and deliverables;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Desirable Skill(s)

  • PMP Certified

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers and business leaders to define financial goals and establish project budgets;
  • Monitor and track budget vs. actuals, identifying any discrepancies and providing corrective action recommendations;
  • Prepare and maintain detailed financial reports for all PMO projects, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives;
  • Provide monthly/quarterly/annual financial status reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders;
  • Identify potential financial risks related to project execution and recommend risk mitigation strategies;
  • Ensure adherence to company financial policies, controls, and project management methodologies;
  • Regularly communicate financial performance and project status to senior management and project stakeholders;
  • Support decision-making by providing financial data and insights related to resource management, cost controls, and overall project health;
  • Analyze financial performance data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas of inefficiency;
  • Identifying, mitigating financial risks across multiple project and  maintaining/reducing project cost overruns;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and tools within the PMO.
