We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst in the Trading Risk domain to understand, assess, and implement the evolving risk management needs for a renowned bank.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Has a Bachelor's degree in Banking or equivalent experience;
- Have at least 3 to 8 years of relevant work experience collaborating with business users and technology teams throughout system implementation phases;
- Strong proficiency in SQL, and data visualization tools such as Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI;
- Good understanding and hands-on experience in the Market and/or ALM Risk domain, with knowledge of relevant frameworks such as FRTB, VaR, Sensitivity, LCR, NSFR, IRRBB, and MCO risk measures;
- A team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience in implementing innovative digital or Artificial Intelligence solutions is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and collate users' requirements from business and risk stakeholders, producing clear and detailed specifications for implementation in Market & ALM risk systems and the central data store;
- Evaluate and assess the impact of business requirements on existing systems and applications to ensure sound and adequate functional designs;
- Devise comprehensive test plans, including test scenarios and test cases, to validate system deliverables;
- Conduct and manage User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, Simulation Testing, and Live verifications to ensure system deliverables meet business requirements;
- Plan relevant activities according to the given timeline, ensuring timely deliveries to maximize business value for stakeholders;
- Collaborate with digital and business intelligence teams to drive data model and data pipeline review, design, and development for reporting and various digital initiatives within the Market and ALM Risk domain.
