We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong functional knowledge in Singapore regulatory reporting, particularly MAS 610 and other local regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between business and technology teams.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related fields;
- Must have 8 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the financial domain with regulatory reporting experience;
- Strong knowledge of Singapore MAS 610 and other local regulatory reports;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data sets;
- Proven ability to engage with business stakeholders and translate requirements into actionable insights;
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience in reporting to senior management;
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools;
- Expertise in testing methodologies, particularly SIT and Pre-UAT testing.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience with Ab Initio ETL tool ;
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) .
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial and regulatory data to support business decision-making;
- Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states;
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for regulatory reporting;
- Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively to senior management;
- Utilize project management tools and techniques to track deliverables and ensure timely completion;
- Work closely with the development team, providing guidance on functional requirements and ensuring seamless implementation;
- Utilize ETL tool to support data transformation and extraction processes;
- Conduct rigorous testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and Pre-User Acceptance Testing (Pre-UAT), to validate system outputs and business requirements.
