We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Java Spark and Big Data technologies to design and build technical solutions for large-scale financial applications.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in performance tuning, system integration, and cloud solutions, particularly within the treasury and funds transfer pricing domains.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in Java Spark and Big Data technologies, specifically building large-scale financial applications;
- Expertise in performance tuning for Java Spark applications running on Big Data infrastructure;
- Proficiency in Big Data Architecture, Java Spark, Shell Scripting, AutoSys, and Design Documentation;
- Must have domain expertise in Funds Transfer Pricing and Treasury;
- Strong understanding of Technical Proficiency, System Integration, Architectural Knowledge, Business Acumen, Project Management, Stakeholder Communication, Security Principles, and Cloud Solutions;
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Team management experience.
Desirable Skill(s)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect;
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture review process, ensuring best practices in system integration, cloud solutions, and security principles are followed;
- Design, develop, and implement large-scale Java Spark and Big Data solutions for financial applications;
- Involved in Performance tuning of Java Spark applications running in Big Data environments with a proven track record of optimizing system performance;
- Lead the development of solutions for Intraday and time-critical applications, ensuring efficiency and scalability;
- Review and analyze proposed technical solutions, providing evaluative judgment based on data-driven insights;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions that meet the business needs and technical requirements;
- Communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Comply with the financial institution processes, coding standards, and regulations;
- Any other ad-hoc responsibilities.
