Release Manager

We are looking for an experienced Release Manager to oversee and manage the software release lifecycle, ensuring smooth deployments, quality assurance, and effective coordination between development, testing, and operations teams. 

Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• 3+ years of experience in release management, DevOps, or software development;
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.), and deployment automation tools;
• Experience working with Agile and DevOps methodologies;
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills;
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities;
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP);
• Familiarity with ITIL practices;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Experience with tools like Jenkins, Jira, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform;
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage software releases across multiple environments;
• Define and maintain the release management process, including schedules, dependencies, and risk management;
• Track and manage release issues, ensuring timely resolution and proper escalation;
• Establish and monitor key release performance metrics;
• Manage version control and release documentation, ensuring proper communication with stakeholders;
• Conduct post-release reviews and implement process improvements;
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements for all releases.
