Seeking Cyber Security Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security infrastructure to protect IT systems and networks.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Diploma / Degree in Infocomm Security, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or Computer Science;
- At least 2 year of implementing and managing complex IT infrastructure systems and services;
- Hands-on experience on security operations, patching, hardening of networks and servers, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, incident response;
- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection);
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, VPNs, and security technologies;
- Practical knowledge of vulnerability management and penetration testing;
- Experience with security tools (SIEM, endpoint security, IDS/IPS, antivirus);
- Knowledge of security compliance regulations (IM8, CCoP 2.0, NIST);
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation and incident response;
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Certifications in Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+, and CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+).
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure network architectures, security tools, and policies while ensuring compliance with industry standards;
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits, applying necessary remediation;
- Monitor security logs, analyse threats, and respond to incidents, including breaches and malware attacks;
- Optimize security tools, automate processes, and enhance threat intelligence capabilities;
- Serve as the Technical Support expert capable of handling escalations, incidents, outages, and infrastructure challenges;
- Operate, manage, and support IT infrastructure and services to meet prescribed service levels.
