We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer. This role requires the candidate to architect and build AWS solutions to achieve business outcomes, while also developing dashboards for cost optimization and compliance to enhance the public cloud experience.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Computer science or a related field;
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of IT Infrastructure work experience;
- Minimum 5 years of experience with CloudFormation, specializing in both application deployment and architecture management;
- Strong skills in Python or Java for developing custom automation tools, dashboards, and cloud API integrations;
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, deploying and managing infrastructure and services;
- Knowledgeable in containers, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures. Skilled in infrastructure monitoring, log analysis, and incident response automation;
- Must have good communication and writing skills;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Proficient in using Terraform, and Ansible for infrastructure automation and orchestration.
Responsibilities
- Design and build automated systems to streamline deployment, monitoring, and operations using infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools;
- Develop and implement robust CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with development teams to drive automation in testing and releases;
- Responsible for utilizing public cloud APIs and services to create scalable, fault-tolerant automation solutions;
- Research and assess new tools for automating security, infrastructure, and operations;
- Implement automated security monitoring, alerting, and remediation to proactively resolve issues and create proofs of concept and prototypes to showcase automation solution value;
- Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to design automated solutions that meet complex business requirements and build dashboards displaying key metrics, such as cost optimization and compliance;
- Responsible to stay current on automation trends and best practices to bring innovative solutions to the organization.
