Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure management;
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments;
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare);
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift);
- Strong scripting skills (bash, Go, Python);
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins);
- Understanding of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef);
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and load balancing;
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools;
- Excellent incident management and troubleshooting skills;
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience in a banking or financial services environment;
- Ability to work comfortably with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP);
- Knowledge of SQL administration and query;
Responsibilities
- Oversee Linux and Windows environments and manage virtualized environments (VMWare);
- Utilize command-line proficiency (RHCSA/RHCE certification or equivalent);
- Implement and manage containerization solutions (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift);
- Configure and manage firewall rules;
- Handle DNS, DHCP, and network storage solutions (NFS/NAS, SAN, CIFS/SMB);
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting (Bash, Go, Python);
- Build and integrate tools to improve system availability, reliability, and performance;
- Utilize CI/CD tooling for automation (Azure DevOps, Jenkins);
- Enforce configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef);
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify problem areas;
- Conduct trend analysis and manage incidents to ensure quick service restoration;
- Perform capacity planning and maintain adherence to SLAs;
- Hold IT Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams accountable for SLA compliance.
