We are seeking a Technical Delivery Manager who can also support the Domain Architect functionality and is responsible for engaging in various projects to strategize solutions and conduct impact assessments for Finance Technology Systems.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Has 10+ years experience as a technical domain architect role in banking industry
- Must have experience as Enterprise Technology Architect with exposure in ETL tools, Oracle 19c (SQL*Plus, PL/SQL), APIs having strong Data Analytical skills and Assessment skills;
- Familiarity with formal architecture frameworks/methodologies such as TOGAF, Zachman, BIAN;
- Experience in heterogeneous technology platforms, including Unix/Linux and Windows environments;
- Practical exposure in data modelling, object modelling, design patterns, familiarity with Enterprise Architecture tools or other software modelling tools;
- Implementation and maintenance experience in Finance, Risk, or Regulatory systems;
- Knowledge of transaction data models, interface patterns, and external integrations;
- Ability to understand banking products, regulatory requirements, and propose functional enhancements for the bank’s roadmap.
Desirable Skill(s)
- TOGAF certified.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to create practical domain roadmaps, guiding the enterprise toward the future state vision while balancing business, technical, and delivery constraints;
- Serve as a trusted advisor to both business and IT stakeholders, helping to define and deliver high-quality solutions;
- Analyze stakeholder requirements, current state architecture, and gaps to craft a future state architecture vision for one or more enterprise domains;
- Review application designs, problem tickets, and incidents, proposing short-term and long-term resolutions in alignment with the domain roadmap;
- Guide and challenge project teams on architecture and design decisions to ensure alignment with the overall architectural vision;
- Govern and manage the technical debt within the domain, ensuring sustainable solutions and reducing long-term risks;
- Review non-functional requirements and proposed architectural changes to anticipate evolving needs and ensure that the architecture remains adaptable;
- Develop and communicate architecture principles and standards to stakeholders, proactively addressing any questions or concerns;
- Provide thought leadership on architectural topics, advocating for innovation and best practices in system design and implementation;
- Promote and embed platform thinking in all aspects of solution development, ensuring consistency and scalability across the enterprise.
