We are seeking a Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) to oversee end-to-end technical delivery for system implementation projects, particularly for Detica KYC, and manage the integration of AML systems.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Computer Science, Information technology and related discipline;
- Has 10+ years of experience in technical delivery management (not just program-level management);
- Work experience in banking/financial industry with exposure in Detica KYC and AML system;
- Extensive experience in Unix Shell Scripting, SQL, Oracle, and Java;
- Experience in system and software design, including UI/UX design;
- Good exposure in Project Management, Application Management, Change Management, Problem Management;
- Strong ability to multitask, effectively handling large amounts of data and technical tasks;
- Highly driven, proactive, and an excellent team player;
- Great interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to engage and motivate cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience working with Hadoop ecosystem and technologies;
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases or Big Data technologies;
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Control-M, Git, Jenkins, and JIRA;
- Familiarity with SharePoint and Confluence for project management and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical aspects of end-to-end system implementation projects for Detica KYC and integration with other AML systems, ensuring the alignment of project goals with business requirements;
- Liaise with various units across IT and Business to ensure effective communication and support throughout the project lifecycle;
- Lead pre-project planning activities, contributing to architecture and functional specifications, delivery plans, technical design, cost estimations, and resource planning;
- Communicate complex technical solutions to technology teams and business users in clear, simple terms that are easily understood by non-technical stakeholders;
- Coordinate technical implementation across application teams, ensuring smooth production cutover with minimal disruptions and adequate post-implementation support;
- Work closely with Architects, Security, and Development Leads to ensure solution design adheres to enterprise design principles, security protocols, and compliance standards.
- Plan, design, and develop technical deliverables to meet project requirements, ensuring completion within established timelines;
- Provide regular status updates on technical delivery, identify potential delays, escalate issues promptly, and propose resolutions or workarounds to mitigate project impacts.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for solutions, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all necessary documents;
- Collaborate with the production support team to conduct root cause analysis, review new/existing code, and perform unit testing to ensure the stability of implemented systems;
- Partner with Test Management teams to ensure completion of SIT, UAT, performance/load testing, and application security testing, all with quality results;
- Work with application teams and business users to prepare test cases and test data in preparation for UAT and Mock Run environments;
- Manage project change requests and deployment schedules to ensure alignment with project milestones;
- Facilitate technical and testing support before and after production deployment, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal issues;
- Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and adherence to quality standards.
