We are seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with a passion for innovation and expertise in designing and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable platforms. This role requires an individual with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, PostgreSQL (or similar database solutions), CosmosDB, and platform provisioning. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate globally to implement state-of-the-art Cloud practices and ensure seamless platform operations.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Have 5+ years of experience in DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines;
- Strong understanding of public cloud services, networking, and security concepts;
- Should have very good experience in Kubernetes for container orchestration;
- Expertise in Terraform for cloud infrastructure automation;
- Experience with PostgreSQL (or similar database solutions) and CosmosDB;
- Strong skills in platform provisioning and infrastructure management;
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration in global teams;
- Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced environments.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Familiarity with implementing security policies in cloud environments;
- A strong drive to research and experiment with emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Implement new features for applications and platforms, ensuring alignment with business requirements;
- Design and build robust CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments;
- Drive platform provisioning, ensuring scalability and reliability;
- Deploy and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes;
- Manage databases including PostgreSQL and CosmosDB, ensuring high performance and availability;
- Collaborate with global teams, Chapter Leads, and Cloud Engineers to prioritize and deliver backlog items;
- Lead investigations of new technologies, conducting Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) to assess feasibility;
- Document technical solutions, contribute to team standards, and define best practices;
- Analyze and resolve incidents efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime;
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide technical support for platforms and applications;
- Secure and update platforms in compliance with governance policies.
