An exciting opportunity for Data Analyst to work on projects for compliance surveillance systems support in processing analytics data, for a reputed bank.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree or Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and related Discipline;
- Ability to work independently with Python and SQL and strong ability to process large volume of data;
- Has knowledge and experience of creating Dashboards – either PowerBI / Tableau / Qlik;
- Basic understanding of Rules Based and Machine Learning models;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and able to function with multiple teams;
- Proactive with a go-getter attitude.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience in AML/CFT;
- Familiarity with SWIFT transactions and/or sanctions screening;
- Work experience in banking industry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units to investigate and resolve reported issues or queries related to compliance surveillance systems;
- Process and analyze data to assist with investigations into Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT);
- Perform tuning and optimization to enhance the functionality and efficiency of compliance surveillance systems;
- Refine and optimize machine learning models to improve compliance monitoring and detection capabilities;
- Participate in projects focused on the maintenance and enhancement of compliance surveillance systems and provide support for analytics data processing;
- Demonstrate proactive learning and adaptability to stay informed about regulatory changes and advancements in compliance technology;
- Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs.
