An exciting opportunity for a IT Business Analyst to work on projects related to consumer banking operations for a reputed bank.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- At least 2 years of Business Analyst experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry;
- Have good knowledge in banking products;
- Familiar with SDLC, able to perform data mapping and hands-on test planning and execution as part of project implementation;
- Prior experience in UAT should have;
- In-depth understanding of testing methodologies and practices;
- Expertise in requirements gathering, analysis and documentation;
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, software development methodologies, and system integration;
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and other business analysis tools;
Familiarity with database management, SQL, and reporting tools; - Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate/work with multiple teams;
- Good in decision making, good mathematical, problem-solving and service-oriented skills with attention to detail.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (PMP);
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and drive continuous process improvement initiatives to meet business needs;
- Collate and manage all the details regarding the application for the assigned business vertical information could span from details of systems interfacing, content of the various data being posted, data held within the application;
- Support user community on business queries and guidance on better usage of the system on daily BAU activities;
- Ensure requirements issues are tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner;
- Clear understanding the scope of the project, the changes associated and support the Project Manager in impact assessment.
- Clearly document the rationale for projects where no impact is assessed;;
- Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication;
- Manage expectations and resolve conflicts between stakeholders and technical teams;
- Facilitate discussions, meetings, and workshops to refine requirements and gain consensus;
- Collate and rationalise all stakeholders’ requirements and walkthrough these requirements with team;
- Prepare proper documentation on the data flow, design, business solutioning and testing approach in accordance with predefined template;
- Manage production issues with users and Technology team, from UAT to delivery of fixes.
