As the IT Risk and Compliance Team Lead, you will guide and empower a team focused on testing and validating IT General Controls (ITGC). Your role will drive team excellence in executing IT control testing, fostering a collaborative environment to meet international compliance standards, and ensuring continuous improvement in all processes.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related discipline;
- Has 6 years of experience in IT risk management, IT General Controls (ITGC) testing, or compliance, with a demonstrated track record in team leadership;
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional engagement and stakeholder management;
- Proven experience managing complex projects, with a focus on continuous improvement and change management;
- Deep expertise in SOX compliance, risk assessment, IT controls, and related frameworks;
- Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to analyze complex control processes and develop risk mitigation strategies;
- Proficient in collaborating with diverse stakeholders across various functions and regions to meet risk and compliance objectives;
- Experience leading agile teams and managing concurrent projects in a dynamic environment.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Background in Agile or Scrum to foster an adaptable and responsive team environment;
- Preferably CISA, CRISC, or other relevant certifications in IT risk management or auditing
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team responsible for planning, executing, and validating ITGC assessments to ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory frameworks;
- Implement continuous improvements in control testing and workflows to enhance team efficiency, accuracy, and quality of results;
- Engage regularly with stakeholders to provide clear updates on risk assessment findings, remediation activities, and compliance status;
- Align team activities with the organization’s risk management strategies, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives;
- Ensure that all ITGC testing processes and outcomes are accurately documented, regularly reviewed, and reported to senior management;
- Provide guidance and development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and accountability.
