Senior Analyst – SAP FICO

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Analyst (SAP FICO) who will be responsible for supporting the organization's SAP ERP system, specifically the FICO modules, through close collaboration with business users to deliver solutions and provide operation support.

Mandatory Skill(s)

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering;
  • At least 5 years of experience working with SAP, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP FICO feasibility studies and implementations;
  • Proficiency in SAP implementation methodologies and hands-on experience with S/4HANA, particularly in FICO. Familiarity with SAP MM and PS modules is a plus;
  • Experience and knowledge of working with SAP FICO including General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, Fund Management, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Workflow and User Exit;
  • Good experience with integration with external systems;
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance processes, particularly in power plants or manufacturing environments;
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, managing scope, risks, and stakeholder communications effectively;
  • Strong in verbal and written communications, analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to details;
  • Good Vendor management, stakeholder communications and management.

Desirable Skill(s)

  • Familiarity with the latest SAP technologies, such as SAP BTP and Fiori apps.
  • Practical experience managing procurement, inventory, and logistics in manufacturing or power generation.

Responsibilities

  • As an SAP FICO Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) to oversee the functional design review process to provide guidance and recommendations for the S4Hana migration project;
  • Conduct thorough business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and define business requirements for SAP implementations;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to map business processes, requirements, and use casee;
  • Develop the business case, including budget, timeline, resources, vendors, and solutions;
  • Perform gap analysis to align business requirements with system functionalities;
  • Maintain comprehensive business requirement documents and assist vendors in developing functional specifications;
  • Oversee the execution of test plans to ensure implementations meet quality standards and business needs;
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing, ensuring timely resolution of any issues;
  • Liaise with the technical team to ensure functional requirements are effectively translated into system design;
  • Ensure clear alignment between project scope and business objectives, managing any changes effectively.
