Cloud Engineer

We are seeking Cloud Engineer who will bring together all the IT departments in charge of developing and running the IT system and technological infrastructure.

Mandatory Skill(s)

• At least 3+ years of experience aa a cloud engineer (Preferably AWS), with around 5 to 9 years of software development experience;
• Strong knowledge on AWS services, includingEc2, Lambda, Redshift, IAM, Cloudwatch and others;
• Experience in Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible;
• Proficiency in coding languages such as Java, Python, etc.;
• Experience with REST APIs and Microservices;
• Strong knowledge on OOA, OOD principles and multi-threading;
• Experience with common Cloud design patterns, messaging patterns and distributed systems;
• Experience CI/Cd tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS Code Pipeline;
• Must have at least one AWS cloud certifications(AWS Certified Developer/ Devops or solution architect).

Desirable Skill(s)

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Development and publication of cloud reference architectures aligned with the enterprise architecture;
• Breakdown and analysis of technical requirements mapped against cloud reference architectures and the roadmap;
• Enterprise cloud vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery;
• Risk management, addressing the security, risk, and compliance needs of cloud migrations;
• Compliance management, providing advisory services on the implementation of robust security, risk, and compliance solutions for the cloud migrations;
• Cloud optimization;
• Optimizing the performance and cost-effectiveness of the organization's cloud environment;
• Identifying opportunities to improve performance, reduce costs, and right-size resources.
