Seeking a proficient Test Automation Engineer with expertise in Tricentis Tosca and experience in implementing automated testing solutions.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Information Systems;
- Proven experience of atleast 2-4 years in automation testing, ideally within an application development;
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA or TestRail and automation tools like Tosca;
- Solid understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess software functionality;
- Meticulous attention to detail for identifying even minor defects;
- Effective verbal and written communication for seamless collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Desirable Skill(s)
- Background in specific sectors (such as finance, healthcare, or retail);
- SQL and scripting knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca for desktop, web, and mobile applications;
- Create reusable and modular test scripts to enhance efficiency;
- Automate functional, regression, integration, and smoke tests using Tosca's model-based approach;
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to align testing with requirements and application functionality;
- Develop detailed test plans and cases for automation;
- Execute automated tests, monitor results, and report issues effectively;
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, scripts, and reports;
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to fully understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage
