We are looking for a Business Analyst to support Consumer Banking team on Data and Dashboards related projects for a reputed bank.
Mandatory Skill(s)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Computer Science;
- At least 2-4 years of experience as a Business, Data and Credit Risk within banking industry;
- Hands-on experience in data querying (SQL);
- Contribute to project lifecycles from Requirements Gathering to Functional Specification reviews and User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
- Experience in handling of data schemas and data wrangling;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to review requirements and ensure they align with design principles and data architecture standards;
- Very good proficiency in SQL queries/scripting and able to extract data from databases;
- Collaborate with stakeholders, such as credit risk analysts, to understand their data and dashboarding needs;
- Subject matter expertise in consumer credit or retail banking domains;;
- Knowledge of consumer credit loan systems and customer systems for cards and unsecured loan products
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
Desirable Skill(s)
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure);
- Certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
Responsibilities
- Work with Credit Risk Management team and cross-functional teams to become an effective “bridge” between users and technology;
- Able to prepare proper documentation on the data flow, design, business solutioning and testing approach in accordance with predefined template;
- Should collate and rationalise all stakeholders’ requirements and walkthrough these requirements with team;
- Responsible to handle large volume of data for analysis, wrangling, reconciliation and testing;
- Provide expertise in secured lending products using systems like LEAPS Origins (booking system) and Finacle (maintenance system);
Familiarity with unsecured loans and card products using systems like VisionPlus; - Actively partner the team in the solutioning process to ensure that the business solutions are properly implemented in line with the user needs;
- Responsible for overall UAT management in terms of timelines, batch runs and managing the testing results;
- Work with Collibra for data discovery and understanding data lineage across tables in ADA/DL (data warehouses);
- Participate in business workshops and initiatives to align business goals with technical deliverables and contribute to continuous process and product enhancements;
- Responsible for understanding the scope of the project, the changes associated and support the Project Manager in impact assessment.
